Kaleb at Play

This is for all the family that want to see Kaleb in action...

Sleepy Baby

Kaleb falls asleep whenever he feels like it which is usually ok. He doesn't care if we're at the dinner table or if his face is buried and probably can barely breathe. I just think he's absolutely adorable!

Kaleb's Big Week

Here lately Kaleb is not getting enough food from just me. He is constantly eating. You would think that I was starving the kid, but I'm not. Adam and I went and bought rice cereal for him to start eating to help his hunger issues. We feed him a some rice cereal once a day. The first day he hated it, but it's different from me nursing him. Yesterday which was day 3 of him eating the rice cereal he loved it. He kept wanting more. If I hesitated too long to give him the next bite he would start throwing a tantrum. This kid is a messy eater it is ridiculous! At the same time its cute how his face looks after he's done eating because it's covered in rice cereal.

Kaleb is also now 3 months old. He's getting so big. He laughed for the first time last night! It was absolutely adorable. I'm in aww. Last night was also the first night he slept out of our bedroom. It was really hard for me, but this time I let him stay out there. For the past 2 weeks Kaleb has been sleeping throughout the entire night which is so nice. There has been only one day he's woken up, but it wasn't so bad because he went to bed at 9:30 and woke up at 5:00am to eat and then went back to sleep until 9:00. Like I said he's getting too big too fast. I sure do love my little monkey though!

Kaleb's First Snow Experience

Last night it snowed and all day it has snowed so Adam and I took our little monkey, Kaleb, out in the snow for his first time ever. We only were outside for a few minutes because I don't want him out in the cold too long since he's still really little. He's not even 3 months old. We had him dressed in an over sized snow suit the Aunt Donna got him. The snow suit was huge!

The Duck Pond

Yesterday, Adam and I took Kaleb out on his first outdoor adventure. We went to the duck pond. It was a little chilly but it wasn't bad compared to what a normal Rexburg Fall/Winter is. We had a lot of fun going on our little outing.

I can't wait until Kaleb is able to walk so he can run and play and know what's going on a little more. I have a feeling when he can he will chase those ducks. Haha

Momma's the Baby Now

Before Kaleb was born I said once he's 2 months old he won't be sleeping in our room but out in the hallway. 2 months came around last week and he had a cold so I decided when he feels better then I'll put him out in the hallway. Well, last night at 9:30pm I put Kaleb in his bed in the hallway. It was all fine until it was time for me to go to bed. I was laying in bed for like 15 minutes. I couldn't even get comfy because I wanted my baby back in the room next to me. I was trying so hard to not go get him, but I was almost in tears. So, I went to the hallway and dragged the crib back into the room right next to me. I fell asleep almost instantly. I've been told that when it comes to sleeping when it's time for the baby to go into their own room its not the baby that needs the mom, its the mom that needs the baby! This is soooo true! Kaleb will be staying with us in our room for at least a little longer because momma is the baby now!

My Momma and Daddy

I just have to say how AMAZING my parents are! I never realized how much they truly did for me until I became a parent myself.  I know I haven't even seen a fraction of what my parents did and still do because I've only been a mom for 6 weeks and 3 days. My parents have sacrificed so much for me and my siblings. There is NO question that they love us! I miss my momma and daddy very much! I can't wait to see them! I hope that I can be as good of a parent as my parents! They are truly wonderful people!
I love you guys very much! Thank you for all you've done for me and still do for me! Y'all are truly amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better mom and dad! You've made me into what I am today! Love always and forever!<3

Our Little Family

I've got to say that I have the best little family ever! I absolutely adore my boys! I don't know what I would do without them! Kaleb keeps us on our toes. He is starting to smile a lot now along with cooing a lot more. He is constantly making funny faces just like his daddy!

Gotta love 'em boys!

Kaleb's Blessing Day

Today Kaleb was blessed in sacrament meeting. We do not have family here in Idaho, so we had a few real good friends come and be apart of the blessing circle. Jacob Stratton, Sean Jones, Dustin Peters, and Chris Doll are great men that came to support our little family today. These guys are like family to us. I really appreciate them coming. Adam was pretty nervous about giving the blessing today, but he did great! I am so proud of him!

Kaleb looked real handsome in his little blessing outfit. It was a little big in some areas and little small in some other areas. Kaleb slept through the blessing which is good otherwise he probably would've cried! I sure do love my family <3

New Addition and More...

The morning of Friday, August 12, 2011, I was induced by that night at 10:18pm the newest addition had arrived. He was born at 7 lbs, 13 oz, and 20 inches long. Labor and delivery went well. I am so glad that my mom was there with me during labor and my sweet husband was with me through labor and delivery.

Nana and Kaleb

Because of Kaleb being born late on August 12, we had to stay at the hospital until August 14th which by passes Adam's 25th birthday on August 13. Since we were at the hospital we celebrated his birthday when we got home on Sunday. My mom made him a cake and dinner.

Moving along to August 20, 2011, Adam's and mine 1st anniversary. We went out as a family during the day (mom, me, Adam, and Kaleb), and later that night Adam and I went to Olive Garden by ourselves while my mom/ Nana watched Kaleb at home. I loved the time alone with my honey, but I couldn't stop thinking about my baby that was only a week old when I left him the first time.

My mom was here in Rexburg with us for 2 weeks. In this time we went out several times before Kaleb was born and afterwards. We ran errands, we walked to the school to show mom the new additions, we went to monkey rock, we went to Deseret Book Store, we bought Kaleb's blessing outfit, we went bowling at Fatcats, we went miniature golfing, out to eat a few times, got snow cones, went to Kiwi Loco, went to the library, and the fair, we gave Kaleb his first bath, and went to the duck ponds and etc.

Our First Vacation

Adam and I had the pleasure of taking our first mini vacation 4th of July weekend.

July 2 - Saturday morning we left early heading to Salt Lake City, Utah. When we finally got there we started looking at sights immediately. Later that night it took us 45 minutes to find Golden Corral which we finally got to and I wasn't even excited to eat there anymore. I was too hungry to care where we went. Then we asked the waitress directions to get back so we wouldn't get lost again...that didn't help. It took us 30 minutes to get back to the hotel.

July 3 - Sunday we stayed at the hotel all day because it's Sunday and all the sites are closed. We watched enjoyed having tv because we don't have it here at home. We went to Wendy's for dinner.

July 4 - Saturday we headed out for more sights. We had a blast. We then headed back to Idaho Falls for the firework show that was supposed to be the best on this side of the Mississippi river! It was awesome! I haven't seen a firework show that cool ever! While waiting for the firework show to start we laid in the grass talking, people watching, and playing UNO. It took us a long time to get home because traffic and because we were told to go another way which would take us away from traffic but it was weird, lots of constructions, and a longer route. Oh well. We finally did make it home at 12:00am.

We had a blast. It's back to school. Ugh...only 3 more weeks left!
